FV1000

The Olympus FluoView  FV1000 is a next-generation imaging system designed for high-resolution, confocal observation of both fixed and living cells. The FV1000 an ideal choice for FRAP, FLIP and photoactivation.
It is based on a fully motorized Olympus IX81 inverted microscope.

Exitation lasers and lines:

Multi Argon laser with excitations at:         458, 488, 514nm

HeNe594 laser, with excitation line at:     594 nm

HeNe561 laser, with excitation line at:     561 nm

HeNe633 laser, with excitation line at:     633 nm

LD 405 laser, with excitation line at:          405 n

Applications:
Multi channel fluorescence imaging, 3-D reconstruction (Z-stack), Time-series, FRET (Fluorescence Resonance Energy Transfer), FRAP (Fluorescence Recovery After Photobleaching).

Detection options:
4 individual channels: 3 PMT fluorescent detectors and 1 transmitted light channel allowing viewing fluorescence images on  DIC (Diffferential Interference Contrast) images.
A variety of available emission filters offers imaging of wide fluorochromes.
