Olympus CX31 - Ideal for teaching and routine applications
Key Features:
Advanced optical system
Easy operation and transport
Highly reliable rack-free stage
Leading in it’s class of microscopes
The Olympus CX31 is a fixed specification binocular microscope for teaching and routine applications. It offers a rigid and durable construction with high performance and long life time. The optics provide bright and even images and adapters allow mounting of Olympus digital cameras for easy and efficient digital imaging.
The Olympus plan corrected UIS2 objectives ensure bright, clear images with excellent flatness.
Optimised contrast
The integrated Abbe-condenser with its optimised aperture stops increases the visibility and contrast of the specimen under different magnifications without time-consuming adjustments.
Ergonomic design
All main controls (focusing knob, light control adjustment and stage handle) of the microscope are located close together so that the user can operate the microscope with minimal movements.
FluoLED - LED Fluorescence Illuminator
FluoLED fluorescence illuminators are designed to fit to the Olympus CX microscopes making them ideal for routine as well as educational purposes. The LEDs can be powered by battery or even solar power ensuring that fluorescence microscopy can be conducted ‘in field’ where samples are fresh. The FluoLED system is available in three versions, to provide transmitted fluorescence, without removing the ability to perform normal brightfield illumination: The FluoLED EasyBlue (480 nm) provides a single wavelength of fixed intensity for the most cost efficient solution. The FluoLED Single provides users with the capability to use one of seven interchangeable LED cassettes from 365 nm (UV) to 630 nm (Red) and control the intensity of the light. The FluoLED MultiFluo enables up to three of the interchangeable LED cassettes to be installed and controlled on the microscope at once via a three channel electronic driver.
Easy and safe transport
The compact design as well as the 'student proof' component security and durability allow the mobile use of the CX21. The attachment of an optional mirror unit allows observations to be made even in the field when no power source is available. A wooden storage box with handle for easy carrying is available as an optional accessory.
